Community Center Programs

Pine Wood Estates and Country Corners residents benefit from programs which are offered free of charge at the Community Centers. These programs provide: After-school tutoring for elementary and middle school students, food and egg distribution, ESL training, after-school programs, Vacation Bible School, Catholic Mass and other programs. The Community Center programs are run by St. Joseph Catholic Church at Pine Wood, and by City of Refuge – a non-profit Christian Ministry at Country Corners.

Athens-Clarke County Pinewoods Library & Learning Center

There is a branch of the Athens Regional Library System located at Pine Wood Estates. Residents can access many of the resources offered through the Library system at the community. Many of these resources are available at no cost.
