The Communities of Pine Wood Estates and Country Corners were originally developed in the late 1960’s. The Communities have been owned by different private entities throughout the years until February 2024, when the Pine Wood owners acquired Country Corners. The Communities are currently home to over 2,300 residents, primarily serving families. During the last 3 years, the number of occupied homes has increased, with over 70 new homes being brought into the Communities. Expectation is another 35-40 homes will be brought into the Communities in 2026. 100% of the homes are resident-owned, and new homes are almost always available.
 
 
Professional on-site management is continuously working to improve the Communities with a number of major renovation projects completed, including road paving, mail center renovations, enhancements to the water and sewer infrastructure, major tree/brush removal, landscaping, and development of new lots for homes.
 
 
Additional improvements will be announced during the months ahead as we work to improve the Community and make Pine Wood Estates/Country Corners the premier affordable housing community in northeast Georgia.
